Innovation at the Heart of Healthcare
Revolutionizing Spinal Imaging with AI-Enabled 3D Ultrasound
Our Mission
At Verdure Imaging, we aim to revolutionize healthcare by delivering transformative AI-enabled imaging solutions. We are committed to empowering medical professionals with innovative tools like SpineUs™, the world’s first FDA 510(k) cleared 3D spine ultrasound, to enhance diagnostic precision, improve patient outcomes, and make advanced imaging accessible to all.
Our Story
Verdure Imaging was born out of a vision to overcome traditional imaging limitations. Inspired by a simple question—why can’t ultrasound be used to see the spine?—we invested years in research and development to answer that question. SpineUs™ is the result of this journey: a groundbreaking device that delivers real-time 3D imaging, empowering providers and patients alike.
Technology Foundation
SpineUs™ combines three established technologies in a new way to make spinal imaging safer, more accessible, and more useful at the point of care.
3D Ultrasound
A non-ionizing imaging modality that captures volumetric data in real time, eliminating the radiation exposure associated with X-ray and CT.
AI-Enabled Segmentation
Machine learning models that identify and reconstruct spinal anatomy from ultrasound data, presenting clinicians with clear 3D views.
Clinical Validation
Validated through clinical research partnerships with academic medical centers, with peer-reviewed studies underway.
Our Values
Leadership
Verdure Imaging is led by a team of clinicians, engineers, and entrepreneurs with deep experience in medical imaging, AI, and healthcare innovation. Full team profiles coming soon.

Built on Open Standards
SpineUS is built on 3D Slicer, the leading open-source platform for medical image computing. This architecture provides interoperability with native DICOM support and OpenIGTLink real-time streaming, extensibility through a modular plugin architecture, and a proven foundation used in clinical research at institutions including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Queen’s University, and the National Institutes of Health. Our AI segmentation models are trained on paired CT and ultrasound datasets collected during IRB-approved clinical studies.
